Today was the third day of our trip, and is the best day so far.
After breakfast, we had our usual lessons. Much to my surprise, we were asked to put on a play about evacuation in front of everybody tomorrow! It was hard work, but we managed to get it under way.
History was wonderful. Our teacher taught us all about the air forces the UK and the German used in the battle of Britain.
After gobbling the packed sandwiches as lunch, we set off to the Duxford museum. It was an air museum which showed planes, jets and bombs etc. There were also many photos and videos of the war times.
After a fabulous BBQ dinner, it was my most loved part of the day - sports session! Being a football lover, I played fiercely in the game and shot two goals! Although it made me tired and thirsty, I loved it.
So I'm here, in my room, writing this. Well, peace out!
Today was the big day for the Duxford museum trip. We first had history lessons to explain the planes we would see, had science lessons to learn about animals adaptation and prepared for the Evacuees play in the drama lesson.
Then it was the best part, we arrived at the Duxford museum! There were loads and loads of planes. We saw planes from the WWII (Spitfires, Lancasters, Mosquitoes, other German planes), we also got to see and go on the world's first plane that was faster than sound! Our mentor's father once rode on it, he said it was so cool and it was very very fast. It was an extremely phenomenal and special experience.
I never realised that our mentor's football skills were so good before we played a game of football during the sporting activities. We were all tired after all the running and the shooting, but it was good fun!

Dear Diary,
What a great sporty today! Today I am finally able to move myself and run around. Although I am sweaty and tired at last but it was fantastic!
At usual as the day before, I went to have my breakfast in the college and lessons at Sawston. My drama teacher was so funny making emotions during in the lesson and we were all laughing and happy after we had our class.
Our lunch today was different to the ones before because it was a packed lunch. I had my lunch in the afternoon at Duxford. It was sunny but windy with some aircrafts flying around and taking off and landing. As I am a fan of commercial aircrafts, I took over 60 photos of different aircrafts displayed in Duxford. I was sad that I wasn't able to take photos of Concorde. But it was interesting in general.
My dinner tonight is special, it was BBQ. Although I didn't cook the food myself, it still remained delicious.
Finally for the sport session. I played Coco which I needed to catch or run away from people running around. It was great and enjoyable, unlike the usual training for sports, it was fun!
Today was a tiring day after we played, so it is time to rest. Follow up tomorrow! Bye!
Cheers,
Lachlan Lai
