School visit starts on Day 4. Stay tuned!
Dr H C Lee
The final day for purely cultural visit, Day 3, turned out to be a battle of the colours! Blue - the undefeatable blue sky mirrored by the glassy harbour as we visited the down town bewildered every one of us. Who could have asked for a better weather? Green - a brief visit to the friendly flowers near the Lions Gate Bridge brought us stunning images of people and wildlife. Green always bring education and educators to life doesn't it? Red - this distinctively sharp tone came from both the China Town and the many fruit markets at Granville Island. Although the town looked somewhat rusty, the Chinese spirit was prominent; on the other hand, under the scorching sun, what offer could beat the sweet red juicy fruit that comes to you so conveniently? Orange - our final decision of the day was where to dine - the YWPS group saved our stomach in the Granville Island for an unexpected bright orange King Crab meal at the restaurant near our hotel - the one we dined on Day 1! This delicious closure was unfortunately missed by many, including Mrs Lam who needed a rest in the hotel. Yet Mr Lam brought her some from our delightful dishes. Hope she did finish it all! These wonderful colours still battle in my head...which one should win and become the colour of the day?
School visit starts on Day 4. Stay tuned! Dr H C Lee

Wooh...A very good variety of cultural visits over the past 3 days indeed. You guys have gone from the sea to the mountains! I'm sure the exposure and insights gained will be reflected in school/class afterwards! ;)

It's quite a fruitful cultural visit as we learned and experienced a lot more about the food, people and the place itself. We've tried out different food (seafood, steak, ice cream...), visited various places (countryside, parks, downtown, China town...) and got to communicate with people around.
