This is a major film production of the English Department this year featuring the great acting and vocal performance from our P.1-3 boys. It was made as part of the programme of Drama Fiesta 2015. NESTA Primary Debating Competition Final highlights
These are highlights from YWPS's debating team's performance and judges' reactions at the Grand Final of the NESTA Primary Debating Competition (20 May). You will see our final debaters Alfie, Ronney and Keith taking turns to present, and how amazed the judges were by the level of the game on the whole. Ronney and Keith, in particular, were praised by one of the adjudicators for their skills and maturity in speech. |

Speech Gala 2015: Dr Harfitt's comments for session P.5-6

Junior Choral Speaking Team's winning performance
YWPS's fifth victories (since 2003) in the category of Choral Speaking (P.1-3) in the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival came with a group of engaged and enthusiastic performers depicting the scariness of a giant, with the verse "Giant Thunderclogs" by J. Kenward. This clip was recorded right before their departure for the competition. |

Senior Choral Speaking Team earns Second Place
For five years in a row our Senior Choral Speaking Team (P.4-6) earns a top 3 spot in the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival including two winners. This year, the team gives life to the student teacher "Mr Flack" in T. Hopkin's inspiring verse, securing a Second Place in the competition. See the performance and be ready to rethink how a good teacher should be defined! |
