From the fawn of one Saturday, every student was waking up in delight, getting their well-deserved rest. However, the teachers were still spinning in confusion because of a mystery.
That day, the teachers were marking their students’ test. All of a sudden, the lights of the school flickered and a horrifying smirk howled across the entire school.
“What just happened? Who messed with the lights?” Principal Chan rushed in the staff office and asked the teachers. They just shrugged and got back to their work. Out of the blue, one stack of test papers vanished. The teachers panicked and the light flickered again.
“Security! Please help us see what happened! I need my tests back!” the Match teacher pleaded for help as she whimpered in annoyance. The school guard searched in every classroom, but still couldn’t find any trace of the “creature”.
“Shhhh!” a shadowy figure appeared out of nowhere in 5B’s classroom for the last time.
“You will never catch me alive!” the shadow shrieked as it disappeared into thin air. That was the last time the school saw “the creature” and the mystery still lingers until this day!

Last Monday morning, the bell rung loudly in Ying Wa Primary School. All the students in 5A went into their classroom quickly. We took our English textbooks on our desks and were ready for the English lesson.
Suddenly, my best friend, John, screamed loudly, “Where is my pencil case? It is a special edition which has some Muffin stickers on it! I like it very much! Can anyone help me to find it?” Although they were searching for it carefully, they still couldn’t find it.
I stood up and said, “Why don’t we ask Mr Timely for help?”
After a few minutes, Mr Timely arrived. He went to 5A and looked around, but he couldn’t find any fingerprints. He also saw some brown fur. He was confused.
Then, he asked two classmates for some clues. One of the classmates, Jay, said he saw Muffin and Mrs Paul go out of the classroom. Another classmate, Ben, said he was the first person to enter the classroom after the bell rang.
Mr Timely thought for a while and laughed, “I know who took the pencil case! Follow me!”
At last, John, Mr Timely and I went to the covered playground and saw Muffin playing with the fluffy “toy”. John took back the shiny pencil case and thanked Mr Timely.

A cloudy day at school,
which had a long long history
Laying beside the pool,
Was a confusing mystery.
A trophy, which was large and shiny,
Stood proud and confident beside the pool.
Behind the trophy was a wallet, dull and tiny,
After all, it wasn’t so cool!
Seeing this, the principal shrieked and ran
And called the world-famous Detective Bill/
Detective Bill, handsome and tan,
Wore a hat as tall as a hill.
He marched to the pool, confident in solving the case in a few moments.
But after he inspected the trophy,
He shouted,
“This is even harder to solve that the case of the shoe and anchovy!”
He walked to the principal and said,
“This has been a waste of time.”
The principal replied,
“At least don’t forget your cup of tea and slice of lime.”
From that day,
The principal would pray,
That one day,
The mystery would uncurl.

Last winter, a mystery happened at school! Aidan’s sheet of homework disappeared in the morning so the teacher asked me to help find it.
First, I asked everyone to look through their bags to see if the missing homework was in their bags, but ono one could find it.
Then, I consulted Marcus, my classmate who collects homework every morning on his desk near the toy box. He said that he was very cold at that time and was shaking uncontrollably at the time.
Thirdly, I asked Xavier, who sits near Marcus, about what he saw. He said that he saw a white blurry shape spinning towards the toy box. He thought it was only a feather. But, being afraid that I might lose an important clue from the witness, Xavier, I went to check on the toy box. I didn’t think that Aidan’s sheet of homework might end up in the toy box, but there it was successfully camouflaged on top of a white chess box. I held up the sheet of homework and announced that the mystery was solved!
After recess, the teacher told us what had happened from what he know, “When Marcus was collecting Aidan’s homework, a cold wind blew in, making Marcus shiver. He dropped the sheet and it was blown into the tow box!” Everyone cheered fro me and the case ended.

Dear Cristiano Ronaldo,
I know you’re busy training for future competitions, but I hope you can spare some time to answer this letter.
I’ve always been a fan of yours since I was young. I feel jealous as you have the chance to be on TV worldwide and can feel the joy when the crowd cheer for you. Scoring goals I fun, isn’t it?
I admire you as you have such legendary soccer skills. May you teach me some of them? There are so many soccer players, but you stick out like a sore thumb. I think you are special in many ways, which is the reason many people take you as their idol (including me).
I have also seen you cool trick shots, ranging from a goal from long away to the ball play shots being so fast I thought it would break the net! If that happened, what an achievement that would be!
I also want to ask you a few questions. How was the road for you to become a famous soccer player? How do you train to improve? How do you feel about the upcoming World Cup? I believe that you feel confident about contribution to your team to make it work! What about you? If you are kind enough to reply, I would absolutely love that. Good luck!
Best Wishes,
Your loyal fan Cyrus Wong

Dear Mr Beast,
You might not know this, but you are my idol. You have a lot of money but you do not use most of it on yourself. You said it yourself on one YouTube video. The money you make, you use it to help poor people.
For example, you made a video about building more than 50 wells in India. You also use your money to encourage people. For example, you made a course to help people to face their fears including the fear of spiders, the fear of heights, the feat of failure… You help poor people, but also help animals. You adopted many pets at an animal shelter. You are also kind to people. You give huge tips or even expensive gifts to delivery people. The thing that I like the most about you is that you never give up. You make videos about you and your team doing some very hard challenges. For example, you survived 7 days buried underground. You got stressed, but you did not give up, and completed the challenge.
I think you really deserve to have millions of subscribers on YouTube. I hope I can be like you when I grow up!
Signed,
Attis Mok Ki Chun
P.S. Can you come to Hong Kong? There are many homeless people who sleep on streets in Tsim Sha Tsui and I believe you can help them.
