To Be Continued... - the series that goes cross-curricular in the school year of 2021-2022
Young Writers Publication Series 13 (2021-2022)
This project is a collaboration between the English Department, Chinese Department, the Brain Trust team as well as the Creative Publisher, Miss Muriel Ma. This story, "To Be Continued...", was created under the annual Diverse Learning Theme of the same name. In their quest to search for sacred items to defeat the evil monster, the three young heroes experience very unexpected journeys. This story was released one chapter per month to make students always look forward to the next episode. This book compiles all chapters into one single story, with the last section displaying students' outstanding and creative work based on this story. The fifth edition of Fire in Flame again collects great works from students of all levels. This issue features a special section at the start titled "15" where 15 of our graduates were invited to write a creative piece to celebrate our School Head's remarkable contribution to YWPS in the past 15 years. This tribute section makes this book so valuable to everyone. In particular, this is a warm retirement gift to Mrs Lam, our Headmistress who has made a difference for our school. Wordiology - a poetry anthology by YWPS boys
Young Writers Publication Series 9 (2016-2017)
This poetry project compiles works of YWPS boys in the school year of 2016-2017 when WArchiLab of the school theme. These selected poems were all done by the students in class, reflecting their poetry learning truthfully. This book categorizes their works into simple acrostics, shape poems/free verse, haiku triplets, simile poems, limericks and quatrains. The make-up word "Wordiology" as the title denotes a serious exploration of diction and creative use of words. Volune 1 (2011)
Our first attempt to produce a literary anthology successfully had a 115-page book healthily delivered. Different genres of work were categorized wittily in rhetorical chapter titles like "Love Allots...", "In Adventureland" and "Letters High in the Clouds". It is a highly presentable anthology to respect the great minds of our children.
