The English Department of Ying Wa Primary School (YWPS) is proud to produce FLAME Magazine yearly since 2008. This departmental magazine features students' writings, teachers' writings, inspiring school events, interesting knowledge and so much more. issues are produced annually. Print copies are distributed to our students and friends of YWPS. We hope this electronic version can add convenience to these wonderful books so that people all over the world can have a taste of what our department and children have been playing and working on! FLAME Issue 24 has an exploratory design with a collage cover and a puzzling back cover for readers to decode! For contents, it has the traditional celebration of the school's speech and drama achievements and reports of students' "explosure" (massive amount of exposure!) overseas, locally and literarily, celebrating their adventurous learning to the fullest. Reflective essays of YWPS graduates are also being featured in this issue. |

FLAME issue no. 22 (Jan 2017)
The 22nd issue of FLAME has a theme of "Love, care and share", displaying a spectrum of English language activities showing students' love towards their learning, caring about one another and sharing things with people. In particular, the boys' huge success in the 68th Speech Festival was an effort from love to the subject; the Story Pilots Scheme shows lots of caring and sharing; and teachers' exchange experiences are all excellent learning materials to share to you all. |

FLAME issue no. 21 (July 2016)
The 21th issue of FLAME is the richest issue so far, containing 32 wonderful pages of students' work and feats. This issue features students' visits such as their visit to PolyU and P.6's Beijing Tour; students' awards such as Speech Gala, Creative Writing Competition and Hong Kong Budding Poets Award; and also Mrs Lam's Canada trip with teachers. 6C's Marco's 4000-word epic story is partly displayed also with a link to the full text. |

FLAME issue no. 1 (Mar 2008)
This is the inaugural issue of FLAME Magazine and it is the second subject-based magazine of YWPS (after Maths). This first issue contains 12 pages. It features an article on how boys learn, the results of our first English creative writing competition and an interview with a YWC S.1 boy, conducted by a YWPS P.6 boy. |
