My Favourite building SECOND PLACE

Do you know what the tallest building in Hong Kong is? It is the International Commerce Centre (ICC). The ICC is my favourite building. Let me tell you about the ICC.
The ICC is 484 meters tall and has 108 floors. They started building it in 2002 and finished it in 2010. That is the same year I was born! It also has the highest swimming pool in the world.
I really like it because it has 83 lifts! Do you know it only takes 54 seconds to go from the ground floor to the top floor? I also like it because it has the largest music and light show on a side of a building. The ICC is amazing!

My favourite building is The Great Pyramids in Egypt. I first saw them in a movie. Then I knew more about them in books.
Resting on golden sands, the shiny Pyramids look like golden spaceships pointing to the universe. They are really wonder of the world. One cannot imagine how such enormous Pyramids were built in the ancient time.
I am amazed by the beautiful shape and mystery behind the story of The Great Pyramids. What a splendid masterpiece!

I want to be a pilot when I grow up. It is because I can bring a lot of passengers safely to their destinations and I enjoy flying in the sky. I can fly to different countries and stay overseas for visiting. I love pilots' uniform as it is neat tidy, cool and stylish. My parents and sister can always ride on my plane with free-of-charge tickets.
To make my dream come true, first, I must have good academic results that I need to work hard. Secondly, I have to speak fluent English by reading more English books and talking with British and American people. Finally, the most important thing is to concentrate and be a responsible person by managing my daily jobs well. I hope my dream will come true!

My favourite pet is my cat Doudou. She has big eyes, small nose, pointed ears and a small mouth. Her long hair is black brown and white in colour. She has a very long tail. She was born in Canada in Year 2002 and moved to Hong Kong in Year 2005 together with my mum. It is my favourite pet because it is very cute and it can talk. When I say hello, she replies MEOW!
Doudou’s favourite activities are sitting by the window, enjoying the sun and relaxing on the sofa. She likes to run around the house and she likes to eat. Her favourite food is tuna fish. My family and I love Doudou very much!

I want to be an inventor when I grow up because I want to help people and make the world better.
I will invent a lot of things. I will invent a bed, which can fly and dive. We can use it when we have an adventure. I will invent a rubbish eating machine, which can eat rubbish so our earth will be very clean. I will also invent an eagle eye helicopter, which can fly very fast and it can see through more than 1000 miles so we can rescue the people in need.
I will do many things every day because I want to invent a lot of things. I will do a lot of experiments before I invent things. I will choose materials first. Then I will start the experiments.
When I grow up, I want to be an inventor like Thomas Alva Edison.

When I grow up, I want to be a scientist. I want to invent robotic limbs to help disabled people so they can be mobile again.
I dream of helping disabled people because I read about their inspirational stories, such as Nick Vujicic (who was born with no arms and no legs), Mr. Lai Chi Wai (who climbed the Lion Rock on a wheelchair) and Terry Fox (who ran across half of Canada with a plastic leg). They are very courageous. I hope my inventions can help them.
