Three students from every class of Primary Four and Five joined the final round of the Spelling Bee Competition. It was held in the English room during free time. The spellers took turns to spell the words given by the teachers in two minutes. All the teams demonstrated enthusiasm and worked wonderfully with a good team spirit.
The first place for Primary Five goes to Class 5C and 5D, who were able to spell 29 words in two minutes. As for Primary Four, Class 4C crowned the champion for spelling 32 words within the time given! How amazing our “bees” are.

That morning, I got a note from my English teacher saying that I was one of the finalists for the Spelling Bee Competition, I was so excited! In fact, I was so excited that I jumped out of my seat!
It was Friday in the blink of an eye. Friday was the day the Spelling Bee Competition was going to take place in the English Room.
Three students from each class took turns spelling the words given. At the end, my team got a total of 21 correct words. I was eager to find out if that was a good mark, a low mark or just plain average.
At the end of the competition, the result was announced. Although I was a bit disappointed that we did not get the champion, it was a good reminder that I can improve on my spelling. What a great competition!
