Jet lag doesn't seem problematic for our boys on their first day of lessons here in Cambridge. The punting experience adds so much more value to the day! Let's hear from Anson Ng and Oscar Chong for their reports of the day.
Now it's the first day of my Cambridge Programme! I had been waiting to have fun in this programme for so so long!
This morning looked pretty sunny. Seemed like it was a good day for some lessons and punting! I dressed up quickly and started my breakfast, seemed good right! Looking at my time schedule to find what we're gonna do. Arts, English, history seems to be my favourite.
After a half-an-hour bus trip to our school, I've finally arrived to the school where we were going to have tons of lessons! Pretty excited for the day! My favourite lesson was English. Our teacher played some games with us, games are always the most attractive to students aren't they?
I really enjoyed punting actually, I saw a few bridges and colleges along the river! I was attracted by the ducks swimming by the river. I loved the experience of this!
As today is the first full day in Cambridge, there are still many things I need to get used to.
After the breakfast, we headed to the lessons. We had drama, science, and history lessons. The first day we had to know each other. We got a soft ball and threw to a person. We needed to name the person who passed ball and it was a bit challenging.
We visited the King's College too! There is a clock which is very meaningful. Sometimes it swings fast, somtimes slow. Actually, it means that, when you are happy, times go fast. But if you are bored, times goes slow. So that is the meaning of it.
I think that the activities will be even more fun afterwards. I am looking forward to them.
