Mrs Rebecca Clarke, the Founder and Director of Cambridge Programmes, came for a briefing session today (10 Oct) for their Junior Programme at a fully packed Conference Room with more than 70 participants including P.6 students, parents, and our English teachers. Having collaborated with this overseas learning programme provider for more than five years, the English Department is proud to introduce to our P.6 parents once again this high-quality and reputable Cambridge-based summer programme.
Last year's participants Brian Cheung and Samuel Wong, both now studying at YWC, did a good presentation on their wonderful learning experience in the programme last summer, followed by Mrs Clarke's speech and a brief Q & A session.
For the promotion of English language learning, we always encourage our boys to see the English-speaking world and be there to experience the language and culture themselves. Our department wishes to see a record-breaking number of YWPS participants this summer in the programme, as we have seen it in the Conference Room this morning.
More information on the application procedure will be available to the P.6 students and parents very soon.
Stay tuned for more news!
