Elvin Lam:
Today was a wonderful day! In the morning, we took lessons at Sawston. The best lesson was the history lesson. We were asked to design a 50 pence coin to express what we saw in this trip. In my design, there was today's date, my name, a wand, a pair of Harry Potter glasses and a fighter. In the science lesson, the teacher helped us to revise the learnt knowledge and told us to prepare a presentation about adaptation. And we started to discuss debating in the English lesson.
In the afternoon, we prepared for the music video and produced the final version. After that, the presentation finally got started. I had to appreciate the other groups that they had a very nice performance. Then the concert started. I played a duet with Brian. We're both very nervous. But we were so excited to have our special guest - Dr Lee. We were all shocked to see him again after few days. Me and Brian performed successfully and was appreciated by the audience.
At night, we enjoyed an evening activity of creating a scene in the Harry Potter movie and acting it out. Although it was a bit of a chaos, we still enjoyed it a lot.
We're going to have the formal dinner tomorrow night. Will update more, bye❗️

"Whew~" I can't stop myself from letting out a deep breath when I went back to my room just now. Today was a VERY long day...
Today we did the normal stuff in the morning (breakfast and lessons). At around 4:00 p.m,we started our presentation, but then, everything went wrong...
At first, it was all fine: we were fully prepared; feeling pretty confident. But then, we were told that our prepared video couldn't be shown! All our confidence went to the back of our minds, replaced by panic and fear.
We then received 50 minutes to prepare for something to present, so we quickly went back to the preparation room to think of a new topic as the other teams were presenting...Luckily, a girl in our team thought of a way to solve the problem - we used an I-pad to record the video from the laptop, then we transferred the clip back to a USB. And when we went back (just in time) and insert the USB into the other computer, I drew my life (earth version) and it was shown on the screen (this was the secret^ω^ ). Although we didn't win the presentation, partly because of the uneven voice, Chris Green (the director of English studies of the junior Cambridge programmes) came over and said we were very creative and the drawings were very good. My face grew red as he said that...
After that, we enjoyed a wonderful concert performed by our own schoolmates. They were all really equally good! However, I think the most outstanding ones were Brian and Elvin, Keith and the choir. They did a really good job!
Two more days, two more days and we will need to go back to H.K. Although I miss my mum and dad, I hope I could stay here longer. Need to sleep now (it is 10:00 p.m. now), bye!
