After some hours of sleeping, although I was a bit tired, I still got up on time for the breakfast (I took cereal and fruit salad). After the meal, we took the coach and headed to Sawston College to have our first lessons.
We had a science lesson first. The teacher told us all about forces, and especially the forces of an aircraft. I was so happy that I got one point for my team! Next we had English and drama. I learnt some new vocabulary and how to use them properly. Finally, we had a history lesson. The teacher was really funny. We learned about children's life in wartime Britain, and we felt how bad it was being evacuated.
In the afternoon we took a long walk to the central part of Cambridge. And finally we saw the grand Chapel of King's College. The architecture of this building was magnificent! The details were so delicate (even for a tiny part). The interior was gorgeous too! My mentor told me that this church was built 576 years ago! We could also see the history and other information inside the chapel.
We went punting next. Along the river we saw lots of other colleges like Queen's, Trinity etc. The ride was really fun.
It is a great day!
