Elvin Lam:
We went to Sawston to have lessons again today. My favourite lesson today was history. The teacher taught me about the history of flying and introduced a bit about what we were going to see this afternoon. Then we went to the museum.
We all took our packed lunch in the canteen. For me, I ate two pieces of bacon and cheese sandwiches, fruit, and a drink. Then we entered the main room: the AirSpace. We first went to see the history of flying and how does an aircraft fly. There were a lot of interactive games to play too! Next, we went to visit the world famous Concorde Model. From the outside of the twin jet-powered super-sonic aircraft, it looked stunning and massive from its length and shape. And we got in the Concorde, the instruments were so complicated, I wouldn't have a good time if I were the pilot of this airplane, and I could finally see the the seats of this plane - they were not as luxurious as the seats nowadays as the aircraft is quite old. That was the third Concorde that BAe built and it was a tester.
At night, we had a BBQ party at the grass field. Although it was raining, the party food was still nice! And I am so happy that I helped the team to win the quiz game and get 5 points!
Today ended with so much joy!

The Duxford Imperial War Museum was awesome!
This morning, as soon as we finished breakfast (I had the same as yesterday), and had some interesting lessons at Sawston (history,English and science), we headed for the main star of today: Duxford Imperial War Museum.
When we entered the museum, I almost forgot how to breathe...there were may different kinds of planes no matter old or new, big or small. I was astounded. I used up all the memory of my camera! My most favourite one was the Concorde Supersonic passenger plane. It was the only successful supersonic plane. we could even go inside to see!
To put a full-stop to this day, we had a game show for evening activities. It was another great experience!
Tomorrow we will go to the Natural History Museum and see the show "The Railway Children". I will tell you all about it soon. Bye for now!
