English Drama Team 2020-2021
[27 May] Today, with great pleasure I bring you the fantastic news that Ying Wa Primary School has received awards in 3 different categories for the play, “Rumpelstiltskin, Private Eye” by Jason Sanford in the Hong Kong School Drama Festival, held on 19th April, 2021. They are:
This was the first time ever that this event was held online owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Given the unprecedented and daunting circumstances, this was not an easy feat as it required a lot of “first time attempts” from all the members of our Senior Drama team, be it training, execution or management, since all of it was done online, in keeping with the current norms.
My sincerest gratitude to all the team members for their spirit and efforts in taking up this challenge head on and coming out with flying colours despite the constraints and difficulties. Congratulations to each and every one of you!
