The final day of the trip turned out to be another pleasant surprise. We argued whether or not we should visit the Cliffs of Moher for the unpredictable weather. We did give it a try and the weather turned gorgeous for us! So, we went viewing this famous site where Harry Potter and Dumbledore found another Horcrux (correct me if I'm wrong!) - The Cliffs of Moher at the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare of Ireland.
Nobody could stop praising the work of nature in the creation of such stunning scenery. Layers of strong, steep cliffs that housed thousands of seagulls stand against the canvases of mighty sky and sapphire ocean with constant strokes from the roaring waves at the bottom. No wonder why film makers, story writers and artists have been inspired by this place. It was freezing as we got off the coach, but as we walked around the area for the photographic scenes, everyone was heated with energy.
This spot put a perfect full stop to our Ireland Tour and we school administrators as participants of the tour are highly satisfied with what Ireland has shown us, educationally, culturally, artistically, scenically, and spiritually. More sharing will surely come as our school days resume.
I hope everyone who has read my travelogue has gained something in some way. Learning is a never-ending cycle of exploration, inspiration and sharing. I have been happy posting these online. Thank you for following.
