[4 Dec] Big congratulations to our Junior Choral Speaking team snatching yet another First Place at the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival. This is in fact our 9th Junior Choral Speaking Winner since the restarting of our school in 2003!
This afternoon, the team, trained by Vice Principal Ms Jenny Ho and Ms Elizabeth Wong, went for the competition with the poem "A Dragon in the Classroom" by Charles Thomson. The adjudicator Mr Tham loved our work very much as can be seen from his words: "The little nuances, actions, gestures showed you had thought it over carefully, spent time in rehearsing and practised it really hard -- and you ended up with a marvelous performance."
With a score of 90, this secures an Honours Certificate. Well done Ying Wa boys and teachers! Proud of you!
