In November 2020, my mum’s friend gave me a chance to have an interview at Radio Television Hong Kong and I agreed. I was very happy and excited because I could go on radio and there was no pre-set topic pre-made for the recording, so my mum’s friend told me that the topic was my experiences in the pandemic, and I like free topics.
That night, we went to the studio and the recording started. We talked about my experiences in this hard time, like how I kept my hobbies and my daily routine in this time at home. We also talked about my favourite books and my new mission: helping my little brother with his English. This greatly improved his grammar and pronunciations, and I am happy to assist him anytime!
In the end, the speaker told me that my English is like a fully-grown man, and this comment made me very happy. I hope to get another chance like this in future!
