  | The 67th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival starts off with sparks for our English performers as the Senior Choral Speaking Team (P.4-6) received a well-deserved Second Place with Honours at the contest this morning. The team interpreted Alan Ahlberg's verse “Dog in the Playground” most dramatically. Let's hear from what our chief coach has to say: “All credit should be given to this year’s Senior Choral Speaking Team who received an HONOURS score of 90, putting them in second place in this year’s competition. The score was made even more remarkable due to the complexity of the recital piece, as |
well as the short time frame in which to complete the rehearsal process.
The greatest outcome, though, was seeing the joyful execution of the piece during the competition proper. In fact, the adjudicator made special mention of the joy communicated throughout the performance. What wonderful recognition!”
