"To Be Continued..." Chapter 3 Launched!

[4 Jan] Our "To Be Continued..." tale has come to Chapter 3 where Bong, at an underground construction, met a mysterious girl, Na Na, who stole a pipa. Bong was startled to see warriors dressing like those in the Qin Dynasty and to learn that he was in fact at a colossal tomb of an emperor. He ended up receiving the third sacred item but was still away from his teammates, Hinson and Chi-yin. Would Bong return to the group soon? And what secrets did this underground place hold?

This time, the dice predict the following: Water, New Teammate, Bondage, Code Breaking, Missing Teammate, Palace.

This plot grows bigger and more complicated for sure! Stay tuned and this story is "To Be Continued"...

I think it was because Bong had a very kind personality and he saw that NaNa was in great danger, so he used the portal to save NaNa and himself from the Terracotta Warriors.

Once I was playing basketball with my friends.One of my friends accidentally threw the ball into the sky, and the ball was about to land on another friend’s head. I immediately jumped and helped him dodged the basketball.Luckily, both of us weren’t hurt in any way. It was such an unforgettable experience.

I think Bong is always trying to show people that he is strong by doing something heroic, so he immediately decided to save Na Na, as it is for good, or, he thinks Na Na is someone important. For me, a few times, I have seen a few old ladies boarding the train, so I offered my seat to them.

I think that Nana is one of the warriors trying to defeat Gauwa but died mentioned in Ch1. People thought that Nana was dead but actually she was still alive and was still going on her mission which was to get the silk string on the pipa in the tomb. That’s why she has the dice and hoops. The necklace might also be one of the items given to her by the old wise man.

I think that the reason of Bong helped Na Na without thinking much is because it is an emergency when some guards are chasing her, so he take the hoop out and ask her to jump in quickly. I also have an example: That day, I went to the beach with my friends and I saw one of my friends nearby a broken glass, nearly steeping on it, so I ran towards and took the piece of broken glass away without consideration.

Q1a:I think he did it because he saw the panicking girl and didn’t know that if she was innocent or not, so he panicked and listen to his gut. I think Bong has a kind and forgiving heart, so on his first thought was to save the girl from being caught.
Q1b:One time when I was like seven years old, I saw a blind man trying to cross a dangerous road, which didn’t have and road lights, and you had to look out for cars to cross.The blind man was going to cross the road, but a car was rushing towards him. Without thinking, I ran to him and quickly pulled him back to the road and led him to safety.
Q2:I think the backstory of Nana is that she was a girl who was a half-ghost, half-hero. I thought that because that she also had dices and hoops to let her travel. The pipa that she stole should be a sacred item to her. One of the dices said new teammate, so I think that Nana is their new teammate to travel.Nana should be sent by the old man to help Bong and the gang to collect and keep the treasure.

There are many possible explanations for Bong’s act. He might’ve thought that the Terracotta Warriors looked too lethal or was simply stunned by Na Na’s beauty. Or maybe he was just a nice person underneath and his instinct made him help a hopeless girl.
I haven’t have many experiences in helping others, but I’ve once prevented my friend from falling off a bunk bed without a second of hesitation, and I thought that he would thank me, but he merely nodded, brushed the dust off of him, and departed. A big disappointment, I must say, but Ive learnt that some people don’t thank you unless you stopped his heart attack or something.

I guess that Na Na was also from Forgotten land and was one of the hero’s but she fail to complete the mission on killing Gauwa. She escaped and lived in the underground tomb. She knew that the pipa string was one of the seven sacred items. That is the reason she stole the pipa.

First question: I think it was because Bong saw Na Na was frightened and he saw a dozen of man chasing her . Bong didn’t think too much and helped her . I didn’t had any emergency experience . If I had an emergency experience, I will help someone in need.

I think Bong helped nana because he wanted to know more information to find his way back to his friends. I also experienced this particular incident too.
One time, I went to this enormous playground with my little brother once when I was three years old at Japan.
When I was playing happily on a slide, I saw a bully,well,bullying my brother.
Firstly,he was just saying bad words,the next second he was punching my brother.
So I helped him to punch back.
Although we both lost the fight but we were very happy we stood up for us both.

Question 1 : I think that Bong saved Na Na because he didn’t want anyone to get hurt. Once, when my cousin and I were boiling water in the kitchen, my cousin’s hand accidentally hit the pot of boiling water and it almost spilled over him. Luckily, I pushed him away from the pot of boiling water and he didn’t get hurt.

Q1. As seen from his behavior in previous chapters, Bong feels emotions quite strongly. He looked at Na Na being chased by the terracotta guard and felt a strong sense of emergency. As a result, he instinctively threw the hoop to save Na Na. When I was little and was playing at a playground, someone blocked the slide with scrap objects. Horrified by the idea of the children sliding down, I immediately warned the children who wanted to slide down, while also informing my parents.

Q2. I believe she was a citizen from living in the Qin Dynasty, because she said “That [Qin Shi Huang] was our emperor”. I also think the sacred items and the hoop and dice were also artifacts from the tomb of Qin Shi Huang. My “theory” is that Gauwa emitted the Monster’s Breath in the Qin Dynasty. Na Na was one of the three heroes who forged items and defeated Gauwa in the Qin Dynasty, driving Gauwa out. Gauwa, forced to flee, escaped to Forgottenland more than 1000 years in the future. After Qin Shi Huang died, the sacred items were scattered to different places where Gauwa once controlled (e.g. Chiba City). The three heroes also sent a hoop and the dice to the next place Gauwa terrorized through the hole in the fabric of time Gauwa broke while escaping.

P.S. I do not believe Na Na is the new teammate because Na Na already left Bong anyway and is very unlikely to come back. The cliffhanger “the merboy looked at them with growing curiosity” suggests that the new teammate might be the merboy instead…

Q1. I think Bong helped Na Na because she looked beautiful and innocent, and the terracotta warriors looked fierce. Or maybe it's just because Bong loves Na Na. I once helped one of my classmates to pick up his things.
Q2.As the question says, there is hardly any information to deduce anything, but I can slightly theorize on her background. Na Na said that Bong's hoops were a bit old, which I thought was one of the most important dialogues in the chapter. First of all, how did the three items(hoops, dice and the Robot) even appear, especially for the robot. Based on the background of the TBC introduction, we can deduce that Forgottenland was not a modern place with advanced technology. I think it was impossible for the people there to have created it. The Old Wise Man also says in the introduction that the items were "coated with the Force of Good sent from the Power of Light" The Power of Light wasn't talked about since then. I believe that it is only a religion of Forgottenland. As for the real reason, I think Na Na is a part of a group that travels through time and does things(currently unknown), it's because Na Na refers to 'we' when she was talking about how 'they' used the hoops and the dice to manage their travels. One of the group, went to the past of Forgottenland and accidentally left the items behind.

When I passed by a swimming pool in Singapore, I saw a kid drowning into water, I threw a lifebuoy to him and sought for help immediately. I think Bong help the girl because he is sympathetic about the situation the girl was caught in. As a warrior, he is kind hearted and he wants to offer help as much as he can.
Once I saw a friend who forgot to bring his octopus card. He was very hungry and got no money to buy snacks. I offered him some money to buy a sandwich. I may not sound to be doing something honourable yet it helps a friend in need.

Q1:Ithink Bong helped Nana because of kindness is contagious. Two months ago, I was riding MTR back home. When I was riding the escalator up, in front of me, there was an old man. All of a sudden, he fell down from the steps. His head bumped on the edge of the steps and was hurt severely. Seeing the old man had fainted, I didn't hesitated and helped him. Then the other passengers also came and help. Kindness is contagious.

I think Bong helped Nana because he is a kind-hearted person as he is one of the heroes.Also it is an emergency 🚨 situation because if Nana was caught by the warriors ,she could be killed by them .Once , I was walking bank home with my friend and he tripped over a stone suddenly. I helped him immediately.

I think Nana is one of the heroes from forgottenland who hadn’t successfully defeated gauwa.She know that the pipa string was one of the seven sacred items so she stole the precious pipa from the palace and give it to the new heroes . However,she was noticed by the warriors .

Q1 I think Bong helped Na na because he had a crush on Na na , he hopped that Na na would fall in love but Na na treats Bong as a good friend instead of falling in love. Though Bong was quite disappointed because Na na didn't fall in love with him, he accepted the truth and felt lucky because as long as they became good friends. I helped my classmate to find his lost Apple Pencil and at the end we found it.

Q2 I think Na na is one of the concubines of Qin Shi Huang. Qin Shi Huang likes Na na but Na na doesn't. Since Qin Shi Huang's death, Na na have been serving and guarding Qin Shi Huang's tomb and body. Na na doesn't like being there so she escaped with a pipa which is one of the imperial treasures of Qin Shi Huang as she liked playing Pipa. And there goes she being chased by Terracotta Soldiers and Bong saved her.

Question 1: I think Bong helped NaNa without thinking much because Bong is a helpful boy. I think that's why he got selected into the sacred item finding team in the first place. One time, Woo Ho Chun from 5A (I forgot his English name) forgot to bring his octopus card, and couldn't get home. I gave him five dollars to buy an MTR ticket to get home without thinking much.

Question 2: I think NaNa would be another Forgottenland hero that was sent by the Old Wise Man shortly after the team departed. She will supply the team with new magic tools and be the new teammate of the team.

1) I think Bong did it this way because he liked to help other people who were in danger or needed help. So Bong helped Na Na when he found that some terracotta warriors chasing Na Na. I also helped other people without consideration before. I saw an old woman crossing the road without observing the traffic lights. A car was coming and I yelled to the old woman that she should stop and came back to then pedestrian path immediately.

2) I guess Na Na was one of the heros before because she also had the hoop and six dice like Bong! In addition, Na Na had the sacred item - the pipa string. I think Na Na got this sacred item after fighting with Gauwa and she now gave it to Bong.

Question 1: Bong feels emotions quite strongly as he usually gets angry . He saw Na Na being chased by the terracotta guard and felt an emergency. As a result, he instinctively threw the hoop to save Na Na. Once while I was swimming with my friend , he sank to the bottom of the pool and couldn’t swim back up. Horrified, I dived down without thinking and pushed him up and saved him from drowning.

Question 2: Although there is hardly any information to deduce anything, I can slightly theorize on her background. Na Na said that Bong's hoops were a bit old, which I thought was one of the most important dialogues in the chapter. She said that Qin Chi Huang was their emperor.How could someone in the Qin Dynasty , more than 2000 years ago, have such technology to make a teleportation device? Forgottenland , according to the TBC introduction,can be seen that it isn’t a high technology place.How, can a person in a place more than 2000 years ago, have more technology than a place in present?So, my conclusion is that she may be either a citizen of the Qin Dynasty OR an person from an unknown party from the future who has been teleported to this place and became a citizen.

I think Bong helped Na Na because he had noticed that he was kind of behind the team as didn't really help to solve any problem or to finish some challenges, and he thought that even the portal expelled him from the group, that made him wanted to do something for the team all the time. So when she saw Na Na, he helped her without hesitation even though he didn't know who she was, that's also why he felt proud for his act. I will also share with you an experience of mine when I helped a person.Remember that time, I was waiting to cross the road, next to me was a woman with his young child about one to two years old, the woman was organising her bag when the traffic light turned green. The little child got off his mother's hand and wanted to cross the road, at there same time there was a truck coming, I immediately hold the child's hand and grabbed him over just in time. I saved the child's life and of course I was proud of myself.

I think Bong helped Nana because of how she dressed. Maybe people nowadays judge others for their appearance, if a person dresses in a nice suit, some people might assume that they are a nice person. If a person dresses in a dirty t-shirt, some people might assume that they are a bad person. In this situation Nana could have been wearing a nice and clean robe, while the soldiers could be wearing dirty and faded armour. So Bong might’ve assume that Nana was on the right side of history and automatically helped her

One situation where I too have helped someone without hesitation if when I saw a little kid fall of a bike at a trail. Essentially he was just pedalling down the lane when he suddenly hit a small bump and fell off his bike. No one was really around so I decided to jump off my bike, run over to him and help him stand up. I stayed by his side until his mother came and then I left.
