Principal Au presented the certificates and coupons to our awardees and they were in Dr Lee's selfie afterwards.

[4 Aug] More good news from our boys! We sent out a dozen videos to enter the Hong Kong Primary Schools “Multicultural KOL 2-minute video Competition” (Organized by Caritas Wu Cheng-chung Secondary School) with the theme of "Embracing Cultural Diversity" and we are glad to have earned these brilliant results:

First runner-up – Lincoln Powell 4E
Second runner-up – Max Sze 6B
The Best Cultural Inheritance Award – Aldon So 4A

We attended their ceremony on 3 Aug and were glad to receive the certificates and the generous book coupons.

I'm really glad that my video got second runner-up. To be honest, I forgot about this competition, and it took me quite a while to understand which video it was. Actually, I was quite surprised that I could even get such a placement. I feel like being a KOL (like how you should act in the competition) means that when you speak, do it with confidence, and even if you mess up or forget the lines, you should improvise and try to entertain the audience, instead of reading the whole script perfectly and quickly, like verse speaking. Also, I think a KOL needs to smile a lot (like ALL other speech-related events) because no one likes a dull host, right? So, that's my thoughts on this competition, and why I'm shocked that I could get third.

When I got The Best Cultural Inheritance Award, I was overjoyed. I could feel what it was like to be a KOL YouTuber. I felt how professional YouTubers made their videos and it was quite the fun experience. Best of all, I was happy I could share Chinese culture to people and let them know more about part of China’s legends and myths. Thank you Dr Lee for this wonderful experience !
