Thanks a lot for taking part in the voting and enjoying the videos made by our P.6 boys!

Spelling Bee Competition 2018-2019

YWPS's Spelling Bee Competition 2018-2019 was successfully held for all levels in March and April at the School Hall. After lunch, hundreds of enthusiastic “bees” were buzzing in the competition hall striking for one goal – spelling the right words to win the Spelling Bee Competition!

After rounds of spelling, all classes have achieved excellent results and here are the winning classes for different levels.

Congratulations to all our “bees” and we will play again next year!

Hong Kong School Drama Festival 2018/19 announced their lists of awardees and the English Drama Team of YWPS is happy to be awarded the following awards for the comedy “When Fairy Tales Collide...”:

Story Pilots' Second School Visit

20 P.6 Story Pilots practised what they have been trained in story-reading and visited Chan's Creative School this afternoon (8 Apr).

Our boys were happy to be given 130+ P.3 boys and girls to be entertained during their lunch hour. Each pilot was to take care of around 5 junior listeners. Each of the pilot brought a book from the English Room and read out the story in the way that would interest their audience. Of course, our boys needed to exercise interactive skills to make their reading session interesting to their young friends.

We were glad to see so many engaged and attentive listeners. When a book was finished, our story pilots swapped places. While our pilots were feeling fatigue for their throats in the end, they started to understand how difficult it was to become a teacher!

Many thanks to the Principal and staff of Chan's Creative School to allow our boys to visit, and of course, to their adorable P.3 students for being so nice too!
