Just returned to Hong Kong after the Singapore study tour, I'm still stunned by what I have experienced with our boys. Without interviewing every one of them, I'm still quite certain that, from the way they acted and reacted, most of them would choose the school experience in Fairfield Methodist School as their best experience in the whole tour.

In these two days in Fairfield, our boys could really "live" with the local students and have a lot of chances to mingle with them. Studying in their regular classes and playing sports with Fairfield's children had been what our boys were looking forward to! Fairfield's hospitality would definitely needs to be returned...in May the soonest, when they would bring a batch of 30 students to YWPS to experience our way of education. And I'm glad that Mdm Law, Principal of Fairfield Methodist School, officially invited YWPS's students to visit Fairfield next year! I am too looking forward to bringing our boys to learn in Singapore again!

With surprises and amazement, the P.6 Singapore Study Tour has come to a close. On the whole, I'm very happy with and moved by our participants' engagement in the 5 days 4 nights with almost purely English dialogues all the way, be it with their peers, teachers or local people. And also, the concrete learning experiences, including but not limited to, the exchanges in Anglo-Chinese School (Junior), Ms Mary Ann's Workshop, and Fairfield Methodist School, were made use of fully and being highly praised.

Now, I'm looking forward to reading in detail our boys' daily reflections in their tour journal. I'm sure they are having many other unique feelings and observations in this tour. And more and more sharing of this tour, in different ways, will be conducted in school soon so that our learning will become the entire school's learning.

Thank you Singapore for showing us what a beautiful country you are! And thanks to YWPS for offering this unique journey for our boys and us teachers.

Dr H C Lee
Principal Mdm Law closed the day.

I could see from the photos that our boys had an amazing experience in Singapore indeed. It must have been a valuable experience for every one of them. Special thanks to ywps for providing our kids such an eye opening opportunity, and all english teachers for the care throughout the 5 days trip, especially Dr Lee.

On my way home last night, Cyrus's "Non Stop Talking" already told me that this study tour was certainly a fruitful experience for Cyrus. This tour exposed Cyrus to a wider range of learning experiences and opportunity. It was fun that he spoke English with Singaporean accent after five days trip.

It was really a memorable and fruitful trip. Not only they woke up at 4:30am on the first day to catch the flight, but also slept at 10pm every night in order to have a good spirit for the following day. A very discipline life, though very tired and exhausted, an enjoyable trip indeed where closer friendship was also built up with schoolmates. Thanks for all the arrangement by the school and teachers. The continuous sharing last night and today morning is a good evidence that he enjoyed a lot and treasure the trip.

Millions thanks to all the teachers, especially for Dr Lee ~ thanks for your caring and guiding. Chun Wing definitely has a wonderful trip (non stop sharing with us) and I believe the valuable experience and memorable moment gained from it should be a highlight of his primary school life.

It was sad that it was the last day and we had to go home at Hong Kong, but it was fun seeing are fairfeild friends for our last time and playing basket ball with them in recess, it was truly a wonderful experience.
And also we went to the famous Merlion the icon of Singapore it was beautiful and amazing, I wish I could go there as a party of Ying Wa Primary school again, but sadly this is my last year in Ying Wa, maybe in secondary we can group up again as the same group and go again !

I really enjoyed the Singapore study tour and I wish that the school will organise another trip again.I think the Fairfield Methodist School section was the best.I enjoyed the IT lesson very much as we were using 3D pen to draw 3D shape,I drew a 3Ddice,my name and a ''beautiful"flower (that looks like a mess).I strongly hope that our school can add some 3D pen for us the play and learn :)

A memorable ending and valuable trip...... I think that you all had a unforgettable experience about studying in other school, and learnt, among others, many excellent interpersonal skills and self-care abilities. I was totally amazed by this 5-day journey. I also discovered Singapore deeply. Thank for Dr.Lee's sharing of this unique trip to us, and thank YWPS!!!!!

The moment that I left Singapore,I had a mixed emotion(not drama).I was quite happy as I could finally go back home and meet my parents. However,I don't really wanted to leave as I missed this country a lot!The level of green in this small city was definitely better than Hong Kong.Gardens by the bay really amazed me a lot!

The school visits in ACSJ and Fairfield was also memorable the level of teaching and school activities were undefeatable ! Futhermore, the standards of foods and activities were mare than excellent!

Talking about the meals that I had in Singapore,it was the highest standards of food that I have ever had in this country(as I had been there for a few times). The Bak Khu Tah,the Kampong Chicken Rice, the Kanya Toast ,the Nanya meal........These were the best meals that I have ever tried in Singapore!!!

Lastly,I want to thank my group leader Mr.Richard,Dr.Lee,Miss Ming,Mrs Ho,Miss Li,Miss Ho ,our tour guide May ,Joe and my dear parents.I had a wonderful experience because of you!

This was a memorable experience, my peers and I learned and played together, I was restless after the trip but it was worth it. There is no other trips better than this than I have ever encountered.

It has definitely been a pleasure going to Singapore with my peers and teachers. I bet this tour is always going to stay as a very warm memory in my heart. Well, frankly saying, this tour beats any other tours I had, going to Singapore. And, don't think study tours are more boring than sightseeing. It's better.
Anyway, would the school hold another Singapore Study Trip next year? I do hope so (even if I've already graduated, in case you're wondering).

Your summary of the final day’s activities and reflections offers a great overview of the educational and cultural experiences the students had. I appreciate the emphasis on the closure of the tour and the impact it had on the participants. This article captures the essence of the study tour and provides a meaningful conclusion to the students' journey. Excellent job on wrapping up such an enriching experience with thoughtful reflections!
