CONGRATULATIONS to Mars, Jayden and Felix, coming first, second and third in our poll for the people's favourite one-min water-themed videos. All these shortlisted videos are great but viewers may have their different preferences. Did you pick the winning videos?
Interestingly, the first two places go to videos which talk about the same thing – a magical pen which can draw things that come to life in the water! I wonder where I can get one! The third place goes to a magic act with a glass of water which we all can learn and do! Good work! Thanks to all of you who have watched the videos and voted. Be creative, flexible and wonderful, like water! We'll play this game again soon! Stay tuned! Dr H C Lee |

Thank you for all the people who voted and like my video. I very appreciate all of the video, all video made my feel very interesting. In my opinion, the way to make a popular video is to interact with the audience. Not only keep on talking about the theme, ask more questions and let the audience to think more and want to keep on moving with the video. Also, storytelling will be interesting for audience. Maybe a simple story will already make a video's atmosphere good. I think a good video making is not about the lighting or how clear the video is, the main thing is the plot. Making a interesting plot may sound like a easy job but it is harder than most of the minor things for a video. So, being creative is the most important of a video.

Thank you very much for voting my video. I was very excited when I knew the result that many of you like it! Personally speaking, to make the video popular, the content must be interesting. Interesting things not only make me feel interested in and happy during my presentation, they will also let the audiences keen on watching your video. Also, the voice and eye-contact of the speaker is very important. It should be with energy, joyful, and confident. The words should not be too hard to let the small ones understand. We should also talk slowly to let the audience hear it clearly and have enough time to imagine and understand. Last but not least, short videos do not need much special effects and thus people can focus on what you are talking and your facial expression. But I do appreciate our other videos do make use of some simple but special computer effects which make their videos funny enough. So, interesting plot, good voice expression & eye-contact, and simple editing effects would make a popular video.

Thank you all who've voted for my video. The result really surprised me as I knew I was awarded the second place. After I saw the shortlisted nominees, I was really impressed with everybody's videos and I immediately knew that it wasn't going to be an easy competition. There were different videos that had each of their special places and they all truly deserved to be awarded. I feel like my video didn't make good use of the interaction between me and the audience and I understood why even though me and Mars were talking about the same topic, he was awarded the first prize. His video was funny and entertaining. All in all, I think this video-shooting task was not only a fun and engaging task, but a very eye-opening experience for me, and I am definitely looking forward to more activities of the same type!
